Research Fields: epigenetic mechanisms and functions. Born in June 1971 in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Graduated from the Department of Biological Science and Technology, Zhejiang University in 1992. Received his master’s degree from the China National Rice Research Institute in 1995 and his doctoral degree from the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999.
