[复制]CAS VP becomes the next AASA president

CAS Vice President LI Jinghai was elected the new president of the Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia (AASA) at the Seventh AASA Board Meeting and General Assembly held on Nov 22 and 23 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Under auspices of the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology, the conference was attended by 31 delegates from 14 countries. The participants also voted on the next session of AASA Board members.

Established in 2000 in Republic of Korea, AASA currently has 26 formal member organizations from academies of Asian and Australasian countries.
